Every year, over 200 million people cross the Gare du Nord, the largest railway station in all of Europe. Its energy and constant movement inspired the design of L’Étoile du Nord.

Patrick Bouchain, a pioneer in the redevelopment of industrial sites into cultural spaces, as thus made it an exceptional architectural object, a restaurant in motion reflecting the idea of “traveling at a standstill.” A roof shining like diamond points, an open kitchen, an intimate space allowing one, through its glass windows, to observe the life of the train station.
